Specialized clinic for post-COVID-19 conditions
Created in 2020, the CIUSSS de l'Estrie – CHUS specialized clinic for post-COVID-19 conditions offers medical support to people suffering from the symptoms of long COVID. The clinic, located in Sherbrooke, is directed by Dr. Alain Piché, who is a microbiologist and infectious-disease specialist. He is backed by a multidisciplinary team.
Access to the clinic is restricted to referral by a physician or other health-care professional.
Clients
People who have had COVID-19 and have symptoms that persist beyond a month.
These symptoms cannot be explained by any other condition and did not exist before the infection.
Services Provided
The clinic's team provides care, follow-up, and support to overcome the various physical and mental problems associated with this condition.

- Participation in clinical trials or research protocols
Accessing the Services
- Have had a positive test (PCR test, self-test, or serology) for COVID-19 at least four weeks ago.
- Have been referred by a health-care professional.
